Hello and welcome to Yoga with Pippa. I have been teaching Yoga since 1990. I first discovered the life giving benefits of Yoga as a teenager. Yoga offered me the opportunity to let go the tension and sense of limitation I was experiencing and I felt deeply moved and enlivened within. Since then I have been committed to developing my practice for both myself and others.
If you are looking fo... r a gentle yoga practice that will leave you feeling physically released with a sense of peace and spaciousness then my classes will be suitable for you. You do not need to be flexible or look remotely like a Yogi! The classes are about being comfortable in your own skin, not trying to achieve the perfect pose but to feel aware of your own body and breath. Through a combination of gentle flowing movement and dynamic stretching, we find our way to a sense of our own presence and balanced vitality.
My yoga classes are friendly and accessible to beginners, offering plenty to engage those with more experience. All Classes include postures, intelligent movement, pranayama and conclude with deep relaxation and a short meditation. Attention is given to individual needs and modifications are offered.
One to one sessions are ideal for those who need their yoga tailored to their specific needs. I teach at my studio or I can visit you in your home.
The Well Woman class offers a nurturing Yoga space for women of all ages in a small group. The emphasis is on nurture and addressing individual needs, whether it is fatigue or backache. In addition, If you need support with regulating your hormones or cycle or seek support for the years beyond menopause then this class will be right for you.
By joining one of my Yoga classes you will give yourself precious time and space to bring balance and well-being into your life. You will also meet local people on the same mission!
